Yearly Archives: 2021

Cornerstone partnered with Think Shift, a Halifax-based Marketing and Advertising agency, who provided the design while Cornerstone looked after development of a new website for the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra. The new site was completely redesigned and rebuilt on WordPress, providing a wide range of functionality while also ensuring the site could be easily updated and maintained by NSO staff.

Due to the pandemic, the site was build to handle both online and in-person events. Online events make use of EventBrite to handle purchase of tickets and once purchased, users are able to access the recorded event on the specified data and time, behind gated access on the website. The site also includes a full ecommerce store, ready to be launched at a later date.

It was also important to provide easy access to an extensive array of educational resources. They have been provided sorted by topics, with easy to use filtering and searching options, which provide easy access to a wide range of resources.

In addition, the site also includes extensive media resources (including both a photo and video gallery), background information, orchestra member profiles, and the ability to donate through Canada Helps!
