Baking a Better Website for Papa Murphy’s

Papa Murphy’s already had a good product: proudly Canadian-owned and operated, fresh, customizable pizzas baked at home. What they needed was a website that made ordering one just as satisfying. They came to us looking for a digital experience that could support customer engagement, franchise growth, and everyday usability.

Here’s what we cooked up (yep, the puns just keep on coming!):

We developed a mobile-first design. For eateries (along with most other businesses today), mobile websites are absolutely vital. Most customers search for food options on the go, on their phones. So we designed a layout that works smoothly across devices, with intuitive navigation and clear CTAs to help people find a menu, place an order, or locate a store fast.

We streamlined the “Order Online” experience, which allows users to browse, customize, and check out quickly.

Our team also created an easy-to-use location finder, helping customers connect with their nearest store.

Upon the client’s request, we then integrated rewards and franchise content, without cluttering the main user flow.

At the backend, we made sure the site’s CMS was able to be updated easily with menus, promos, franchise info, you name it. 

Today, a good UX isn’t just about the optics; it could very well mean better conversions, loyalty, and fewer abandoned carts.
