Labrador Gem Seafoods Ecommerce Site Development

Cornerstone is pleased to announce the launch of a brand new e-commerce website for Labrador Gem Seafoods. This site was developed in partnership with Think Shift, a Halifax-based Marketing and Advertising agency, who provided the design while Cornerstone looked after development of the site. The site facilitates both direct to consumer and bulk sales.
The site features full ecommerce functionality including online shopping cart, payment options, delivery options, coupon codes, and user accounts. The site is built on WordPress and WooCommerce, allowing for easy updates by Labrador Gem Seafoods’ staff. The site is also fully translated and accessible in multiple languages (English, French and Spanish), the translations being made using Artificial Intelligence. A unique challenge that we solved at the time was configuring a curbside pickup option, made necessary during the pandemic.
