Building a custom insurance portal that streamlines quotes, renewals, and payments powered by seamless third-party integration.
Advocis Broker Services (ABS) needed a more efficient way to manage insurance applications, renewals, and payments, all of which were previously handled through a basic contact form and follow-up emails. This manual process was time-consuming and prone to delays and human error.
The goal was to create a secure, streamlined digital portal that could integrate with their existing third-party insurance software, Epic. They approached us to build a custom solution that would improve the client experience, reduce administrative burden, and ensure accuracy across all submitted data.
Our design team worked closely with the Advocis team through a series of iterative workshops. These sessions helped us align on the ideal application process and flow, interface design, and client journey, ensuring the portal would be both easy-to-use and fully functional across all devices.
We built the insurance portal as a dynamic React application for performance, flexibility, and scalability. This gave us the ability to create a fast, responsive experience for users, complete with real-time quoting, account management, and payment options—all the good stuff they needed!
One of the biggest technical achievements was integrating directly with Epic, Advocis’ third-party insurance management system. The portal syncs data in real time, allowing clients to generate accurate quotes, renew existing policies, and process payments without additional manual entry from the ABS team.
By moving away from manual forms and emails, the new system made sure all information was submitted in a standardized, complete format. This dramatically reduced errors and administrative overhead while improving the client’s overall experience through faster turnaround times.
The ABS Insurance Portal has completely transformed the way Advocis interacted with its clients. What was once a manual, time-intensive process is now an efficient, automated workflow from quote to payment. The portal has been a gamechanger for both internal staff and customers, saving significant time and improving accuracy across the board.
Thanks to the custom React build and seamless Epic integration, Advocis now has a powerful digital tool that can grow with their business, and deliver a better experience to every user who logs in.
