The Challenge
Canada Diagnostics Centres was quickly growing and needed a site which would represent it well to the hundreds of thousands of patients which come to them each year. Patients needed information on the different services offered, diagnostic centre locations, and the ability to book appointments online. In addition to serving patient needs, Canada Diagnostic Centres also needed to provide reference materials and forms to practitioners.
The Solution
Cornerstone worked with Canada Diagnostics Centres’ preferred design firm to develop a consumer friendly site which is easy to use and positions Canada Diagnostic Centers as Alberta’s premier radiology service provider. The site’s simplicity is by design, integrating a number of different features including mixed media (videos explaining procedures, printable forms, and reference materials), online appointment booking, and online diagnostic image viewing. It’s also easy to find location information and directions though both a locations search function and dynamic linking of services to locations offering those services. The site was built in WordPress for easy updating by multiple administrators.
Key Results
The finished product, a fully responsive, CMS-driven website, has been well received by the nearly 350,000 patients who visited the site last year.
