A recruitment-focused microsite to attract and welcome seasonal staff
Like many mountain resorts, Fairmont Château Lake Louise faced a recurring hurdle: attracting enough seasonal staff to operate at full capacity. They also wanted to improve the onboarding experience for new hires, many of whom were arriving from outside the region, unfamiliar with what to expect from life and work in Lake Louise.
Fairmont needed a dedicated digital space that could both inspire potential applicants and prepare new staff for what to expect at a mountain resort.
To bring the experience to life, we leaned heavily on high-quality visuals that showcased the natural beauty of the region and the warmth of the Fairmont community. Every page was designed to feel vibrant, inviting, and reflective of the brand.
Our goal was twofold:
We developed the site to act as a strategic landing point in the recruitment funnel, one that clearly communicates what it’s like to live, work, and play in this iconic mountain destination.
We collaborated with Fairmont to craft clear, authentic, and informative content focused on:
All content was created to feel both welcoming and practical, setting expectations while painting an inspiring picture of mountain life.
The microsite became a central piece of Fairmont’s seasonal recruiting strategy, enhancing discoverability, setting expectations, and helping candidates feel excited (and informed) before they even applied.
The final product was not only well-received by Fairmont management but was also named an IMA Best in Class award-winning website!
