Our Team

Our team spans a wide variety of backgrounds including creative thinkers, development geeks, and even a psychology major. We also have about a bazillion years of digital experience dating back to the dawn of the world wide web. Hey, we’ve been doing this a long time!



As Co-founder and Director of Cornerstone, Cameron looks after business operations. Over the past 15 years, he’s earned himself a reputation as our resident nerd in all things related to digital strategy and integrated marketing campaigns. Those who know him know he’s a competitive spirit. He thrives on helping clients beat their competition through continuous learning, ensuring he’s on top of current trends and just generally keeping things interesting. To date, Cam has worked with clients across a diverse range of sectors, including ATB Financial, BrokerLink, Travel Alberta and QBE Insurance. Among his many achievements, he is most proud of his ability to cure hiccups. Yes, that’s right.



For more than 18 years, Craig has been providing leadership and direction to multi- disciplinary teams including creative directors, UX designers, front-end developers, app developers, content strategists, search engine marketers, motion designers, photographers and video production artists.

Craig has worked with some of the leading internet firms and has been integral in the development and execution of many award-winning projects on Mercedes-Benz USA, as well as Dell.com, VisitLasVegas.com, NASA.org, Nokia Corporation, Albertsons, AT&T Wireless and Hyatt.com.

Kent Williams, PMP

Director of Operations

As Cornerstone Digital's Director of Operations, Kent does more than sit in meetings all day. After spending over a decade managing projects for web development and creative productions, Kent has worked with organizations across a wide range of industries - from post-secondary education and housing, to robotic engineers and natural resources.

Though he originally started his career as a graphic designer, Kent has continuously expanded his skill set to include project management, communications, and strategic planning, in addition to earning a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation. No matter which hat he's wearing, Kent knows how to leverage strong communication, management, and leadership skills to deliver creative, strategic, and integrated products and value.

Jon MacDonald

Project Manager

Jon is a Project Manager with experience in a wide variety of fields, ranging from designing 3D printing technology to strategic digital marketing to account management. Jon's versatility lends to his strengths in strategic planning and problem solving in a technology based environment. A natural leader, Jon excels in visualizing project workflows and developing paths to success for the client and the team. Being personally driven, holding a positive outlook on life, and having a unique personality to match his varied skillset lends to his ability to manage successful campaigns on time and on budget. Jon has a degree in Economics from the University of Calgary, and also holds a Graphic Design diploma from MRU. Outside of being a Project Manager, Jon spends his time in the music studio as a guitarist / vocalist, and playing one of his 100+ boardgames with his family and friends.

Kira Pedersen

Design Lead

As Cornerstone Design Lead, Kira oversees the creative components of our digital projects. She works closely with clients to bring the most engaging and authentic expression of their brands to life online.

A creative marketing strategist with over 12 years experience in brand and campaign development, she has worked across verticals, and with clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to SMBs to startups.

With a love of design, problem solving and communication, her passion is discovering the creative articulation of a brand that will connect with the audience in a meaningful and lasting way.

Jesse Read

Tech Lead

Jesse is a graduate of University of Calgary and SAIT, and has spent the last 16 years coding custom websites, web applications, games and apps for agencies and clients all over the world, including Shaw, Dell, SAIT, Toyota, and HBC. He especially enjoys developing innovative web architecture, building custom APIs, and solving complex data integrations. His favourite projects include building real estate listing frameworks and aggregated data feeds for one of the largest real estate data providers in Manhattan, building a from-scratch application for new vehicle purchasing online, and developing app development and monetization strategies for startups. He also loves gaming with his kids, trying to carve out time for travel, skiing, biking, and golf whenever possible, and just enjoying the Okanagan life.

Ryan Johnston

Tech Lead

Ryan Johnston has been building outstanding online experiences for over twenty years. Starting at The Banff Centre's New Media Institute and moving into the agency world, he has held almost all roles in the delivery of major online projects. Ryan is a proven thinker and creative problem solver who can combine innovative strategy with a solid implementation plan to drive sales. Ryan has worked on world class brands including Mercedes-Benz, adidas, Nissan USA, Infiniti, Valvoline, Eagle One, Pampers, Dell, Best Buy, USAA and Harley Davidson USA. Through the years, Ryan has worked on projects consisting of a couple of people to large teams spread across time-zones and continents. He is a full-stack developer who works daily on furthering his skills.

Glen Hayes


Glen is a front-end Developer with an eye for design and a passion for finding solutions to problems. Educated in New Media Production and Design at SAIT in Calgary, Glen brings a vast array of skills to every project. He is able to craft sites with precision and purpose, with expert knowledge in Javascript, SCSS, HTML, and PHP. With 5 years of experience working in agencies, he has worked with clients ranging from international conglomerates to local startups, this experience has helped him to hone his skills and to help determine and implement solutions that fit within their budget. When not in the office, Glen enjoys getting out in nature with his wife, and relaxing with his pets a french bulldog, and a plump but gentle ginger cat.

Ryan Sanford


Ryan is a talented front-end developer with a fondness for solving logic equations and custom coding. He has worked on projects that range from interactive custom email signature applications, to website builds and marketing automation integration with HubSpot and Pardot. He is comfortable working in all popular CMS’s including Drupal, Magento, Joomla and WordPress. Ryan prefers to work with his strengths in PHP and JS, but In addition to development, he is both Google Analytics and Hubspot certified. Ryan has continued to pursue his interests in coding by creating apps and games in his spare time using ReactJS to keep up to speed in new developmental standards and techniques. Ryan has been working with Cornerstone since Summer of 2018.
