Egg Farmers of Alberta Website Redesign

Cornerstone has designed and developed a new website for the Egg Farmers of Alberta, the fourth redesign we’ve provided over the past 11 years of working together. The new design is light, inviting, and looks fantastic across all devices and screen sizes. The site UX was completely overhauled and features a new sitemap centered around EFA’s 4 Pillars: Healthy Birds, Healthy Eggs, Healthy Farms, and Healthy Communities.
The site was built in WordPress, allowing for easy updates and maintenance by EFA’s staff. The build was fairly complicated, with over 25 custom modules and 10 different post-types setup, providing a dynamic and extensive set of layout and functionality options. Also included are integration of Constant Contact and “Ask A Farmer” message board. The recipes section was also enhanced and now includes filters, search capability, ratings, sharing, nutritional information, and serving size calculator.
